Nevskaya Krasa
2026
Meeting on the banks of the Neva River
International Inclusive Ethno-Festival
September 30 – October 4, Saint Petersburg, Russia
"We unite the cultures of Russia and China. Inclusion. Creation. Friendship"
We have been holding the «Nevskaya Krasa» contest for 10 year.
In 2026, the project reaches a new level. Instead of a Contest, there is a festival uniting Russia and China. Instead of the jury‘s ratings, there is creativity and friendship.
The participants are people with and without disabilities, adults and children (from 6 years old), soloists and groups.
From September 30 to October 4, 2026
St. Petersburg will host the International Inclusive Ethno–Festival “Nevskaya Krasa. Meeting on the Banks of the Neva” for the first time
This is a new chapter of a legendary project that has been bringing together talented people with and without disabilities since 2016.
This year we are going international and changing the format: There are no contests or venues, just creativity, cultural exchange between Russia and China, friendship and mutual understanding.
What awaits you:
Performances by creative groups and soloists (children from 6 years old and adults).
Universal and adaptive fashion shows from Russian and Chinese designers.
A round table with experts on inclusion.
A tour of St. Petersburg and a traditional Russian tea party.
Participation is free.
Everyone who wants to share with us the celebration of art without borders is invited.
Take part
- Citizens of Russia and China over the age of 6 can take part in the Festival, inclusive.
- Application procedure:
Applications for participation are accepted by the organizers from April 01 to July 01, 2026. Application form - Duration of performances (for Day 3):
Solo performances (children and adults) – up to 4 minutes.
Group performances (children and adults) – up to 10 minutes. - Technical conditions of the performance:
Phonograms are sent in advance to the Organizing Committee’s email address.
Participants using a phonogram are required to have a backup copy of it.
The use of “live” sound (microphones, instruments) is coordinated with the Organizing Committee in advance. - To form the program of the Festival, the organizers can request accompanying materials (videos, photographs, a brief description of the issue).
- The following people are invited to participate in the show:
Designers and brands that create versatile and/or adaptive clothing (models that are equally comfortable and aesthetic for people with and without disabilities).
Designers working with national motifs of Russia and China. - Requirements for participation in the show:
Number of images: from 2 (two) to 5 (five) images from the same designer/brand. For a larger number, prior approval with the Organizing Committee is required.
The application for participation automatically assumes participation in the creative contest “Universal Fashion”: designers present the same model of clothing on two models – on a person with a disability and a normotypic person.
This demonstrates the versatility, accessibility and inclusivity of the presented collection. - The procedure for applying for a fashion show:
Applications are accepted from April 01 to July 01, 2026. Application form
The participant submits: a description of the collection (up to 5 images); photographs or sketches of models; information about the designer / brand; a list of models indicating which of them is a person with a disability; a note about participation in the creative contest “Universal Fashion” (yes / no). - The Organizing Committee reserves the right to select collections for display based on: the theme of the Festival, the technical capabilities of the site, the overall timing, and compliance with the condition of paired participation of models (a person with a disability + a normotypic person).

Project history: «Nevskaya Krasa» 2016–2025
From 2015 to 2025 «Nevskaya Krasa» has brought together hundreds of participants who have realized their dreams. In 2026, the project reaches a new level - an international inclusive ethno-festival. There's a story here. Next is a new stage.
It invited girls from St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region to participate. 30 participants took part in the Competition, 14 of whom became finalists. The theme of the event was an inspiring call to “Give a dream.” A rich cultural program awaited the girls: a dance oren-air on the Spit of Vasilyevsky Island, a Hawaiian party on the Laskovy Beach, a Colorful Boom race, a water tour along the Neva River, the “Usadba Jazz” music festival, a visit to the Stroganov Palace, and a motorcycle walk around St. Petersburg. The competition was held in the “Majestic” Banquet Hall, Repino village.
It became an All-Russian Competition and accepted applications from all over Russia. 25 girls participated in it, 13 of whom reached the final. Everyone loved the “White Nights” motorcycle walk and a boat tour, as well as a visit to the dolphinarium – this was the entertainment program. The venue was the creative space “Tkachi”.
For the first time it has reached the international level. A large number of 50 girls took part in the selection, 26 of them became finalists. Not only the geography of the Competition has expanded, but also its event program. Such pleasant innovations were a photo shoot in Peterhof under the guidance of stylist Anna Mikhailova, a master class in perfumery, and a master class in acting with theater and film actress Natalia Shcherbakova. In addition, the forum “A world accessible to all!” was held for the first time as part of the business program. The participants also enjoyed traditional entertainment – a motorcycle walk and a water tour of the Northern Capital. The competition was held in the ceremonial pavilion of the Peter and Paul Fortress.
It was organized in a thematic style. This year, 45 participants submitted applications, 27 of them became finalists. The pre-competition week was full of events: a motorcycle ride, tours of St. Petersburg and Peterhof, a photo shoot in the images of Anna Mikhailova. In addition, the finalists were waiting for a master class in acting with theater and film actress Natalia Shcherbakova. The business program of the Competition was presented by the forum “A World accessible to All”. For the second year in a row, the event was held in the ceremonial pavilion of the Peter and Paul Fortress.
It accepted 41 applications for consideration, 20 girls became finalists of the Competition. The program of events included the traditional “White Nights”, motorcycle walk, a master class in acting with theater and film actress Natalia Shcherbakova, and a trip to Peterhof, where the girls were able to take pictures in Anna Mikhailova outfits. The contestants also attended the annual forum “A World accessible to All”, during which a master class on lip balsam production from chemist-technologist Tatiana Zeneva was held. The venue was the Historical Park “Russia – my history”.
It invited 49 girls to participate, 23 of them passed the qualifying round. The week-long pre-competition program offered the girls a walking and motorcycle trip around St. Petersburg, an excursion to Peterhof, where a photo shoot by Anna Mikhailova took place. The finalists took part in the forum “A World accessible to All” and a master class by the winner of the Channel One super project “Golos-7” Peter Zakharov. The Competition venue was the Tinkoff Arena Concert and Sports complex.
It was held under the motivating motto “I can! You can! We can”!”. This year, the largest number of applicants took part in the selection – 51 girls, 26 of whom reached the finals. The events literally overwhelmed the girls from the very first days of the competition week: a traditional motorcycle walk and a water excursion, a trip to Kronstadt and Peterhof, participation in a photo shoot in images from Anna Mikhailova, and attending an art session. The first inclusive folklore festival “Girls’ Gatherings” was held during the Competition. And within the framework of the forum “A World accessible to All”, the participants presented their business projects. The competition was held in a single public space “Wednesday!”.
It presented two significant events: the forum “Inclusive Higher Education” and the forum-festival “Inclusion in Creativity and Fashion”. In addition, another pleasant innovation appeared in the Competition: as part of the pilot project, the “Princess” nomination was created, which included girls from 14 to 17 years old living in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. A total of 31 applications were accepted for consideration, 19 girls passed the qualifying round. A vibrant cultural program awaited the girls: a motorcycle walk, a photo shoot in the unique images of Anna Mikhailova, a tour of Peterhof, a master class in painting T-shirts with Natalia Tkachuk, master classes in perfumery with Kamila Kruten and in painting notebooks “Dot painting” with Natalia Klementyeva. The competition was held in a single public space “Wednesday!”.
It was organized in an ethnic style, aimed at supporting the ethnocultural heritage of Russia. The winners of previous years took part in the ethnofestival, demonstrating national costumes, folklore traditions and elements of folk art, as well as their outstanding talent in art genres, including vocals, dancing and needlework. In addition, the girls took part in a tour of the Museum of Naval Glory in Kronstadt, where they were able to get acquainted with the heroic past of the Russian navy.; We immersed ourselves in the history of St. Petersburg at a lecture dedicated to the St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral and its surroundings, and talked with a successful athlete, wakeboarder, and player of the St. Petersburg wheelchair basketball club «BasKI» By Stanislav Burakov. Stanislav, despite his disability, was able to overcome his fears, achieve success in sports and prove that a wheelchair is not an obstacle on the way to his dream. A photo shoot in handmade hats from our permanent partner Anna Mikhailova was also organized for the participants.
